Catawba Island Club and Sunshine Land II L.L.C. have announced the creation of "The Fairway Villas at Catawba Island Club"

The Fairway Villas will be a 160 unit ranch villa condominium community located on the west side of Catawba Island. It is just a short walk to the shores of Lake Erie and the amenities of the Catawba Island Club. The community will offer four floor plans, all with one story living. All floor plans will have a first floor master suite, two or three bedrooms, a two car garage with golf cart storage, and all the amenities you would expect. It will also include a spacious Community Center with large gathering room, a fully equipped exercise room, and an outdoor heated swimming pool.

According to Tom Bohlander, a partner of Fairway Villas at Catawba Island Club, phase one will consist of thirteen buildings equaling fifty two homes. Site work has already begun, and the first homes and Community Center are scheduled to be completed this fall. According to Bohlander, they have reservations on half of the homes and interest is very high.

The sales office is located at 2675 Canterbury Circle, one half mile north of Cemetery Road on Catawba Island and will be open seven days a week during summer hours.

The community will be surrounded by a new nine holes of golf that will complete the Catawba Island Club eighteen hole course designed by renowned golf architect Arthur Hills. The golf course is one of the many amenities at Catawba Island Club which includes a large clubhouse with numerous dining rooms from casual to formal, a hotel, a world class marina, tennis courts and new swimming complex for adults and children all on the shores of Lake Erie.
